The Web Factory is a U.S.-based digital marketing company with offices in Florida and Virginia. Our ENTIRE reason for being is to move our customers closer to their customers and we go to extraordinary lengths to do it. Let’s face it, the digital marketing landscape pretty much up-ends itself every two-three years so it takes a lot of flex, a lot of passion and a lot of hard work to build and maintain successes in that kind of environment. But we’re those kinds of people.
Mike’s career has spanned the worlds of sales, marketing & advertising, and project management having led, managed, or in some way guided growth strategies for entities as diverse as Media & Publishing to Banking & Financial Institutions to Commercial Real Estate and Yachting.
In 2004 Mike launched Brightwork / Rankster as a direct marketing consultancy with a focus on the non-profit, media and yachting sectors. Within 12 months the company had acquired a stable of regional and national clients including Medi-Share, a national non-profit healthcare concern, The Miami Herald and others, and was engaged in consulting relationships for BankUnited, Marriott, One & Only Resorts, and OM Ships.
In 2012 he sold Rankster to Blackstone Media where he subsequently led their marketing and sales efforts. In mid 2014 Mike left Blackstone to create the Web Factory to provide smart, effective online marketing solutions to businesses of all sizes.
Daniel began his career in media by trying his hardest not to be in media. But being an itinerant director / producer traveling around Europe and South America shooting everything from documentaries to music videos is going to put you in the spotlight – especially when you’re as good at it as he is. His work eventually ended up catching the attention of the executives at Sony Music who convinced him to go corporate and the rest, as they say, is history.
Daniel has been producing and influencing new directions in visual content for a wide range of clients and industries including some of the largest media, entertainment and healthcare brands in the world. Danny has built a reputation as one of the most creative and dynamic production minds in the industry. He has joined the Web Factory to lead our clients’ video production and video marketing efforts. The little guy in the photo is jay-peg. He’s been known to do a spot or two now and then.
Director of Development Services
Starting in 2004, Landon Cahow began pursuing web and graphic design as a hobby while working full-time in construction. With the downturn in the economy in 2008, the opportunity came for him to shift careers and make web design and marketing his primary work, eventually culminating in the creation of his digital design and marketing agency, Red Zephyr Design, in 2009.
Since then, he has worked on a variety of projects for clients in various fields such as banking, outdoors & environmental, real estate, auto sales, and political organizations, to name a few. This varied experience has allowed him to become well rounded in a wide-range of design and marketing techniques. Currently Landon works from our Florida office, and otherwise spends time with his wife and two young daughters, and pursuing his hobbies of golf, genealogical and historical research, and of course, building websites.
Director of Corporate Happiness
Oliver has the distinguished and sometimes difficult job of making sure everyone at the Web Factory has a good time – or at least has a handful of dog treats on hand. He also has a knack for showing up in the middle of a conversation and making himself the center of it. But Oliver’s real talents have more to do with making sure the office vibe is just right by delivering random drive-by licks when things get a little crazy. Oliver has a Masters in Recreational Therapy.
